Islamic officials in Malaysia has warned Muslims against celebrating Valentine's Day, the connection with the activities of Vice. Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said the celebration of love "unfit" was romantic for Muslims. Wan Mohamad Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Head of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), which oversees the policies of Islamic countries, "said a fatwa (ruling) issued by dignitaries in the country in 2005 marked the day is associated with elements of Christianity, and "simply can not participate in rituals of worship of another religion." Jakim Officials plan to conduct a national campaign called "Day Awas Jerat Valentine (" Valentine Mind Trap ") to prevent Muslims from the celebration, February 14, 2011.
